Where there is a ONEUS concert, there is sure to be a magical night. August 21 brought their latest H_OUR, US tour to the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre of Los Angeles.

The five piece group is currently working as a quartet due to Seoho’s current military enlistment. Nevertheless, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion fill the stage as expertly as ever. This is no surprise, of course–nothing could keep these performance powerhouses from pulling out all the stops and making each one of their concerts a night to remember.

With each new tour, ONEUS work tirelessly to bring as much fresh material to the stage as possible. This could be seen with the inclusion of new tracks, such as honey-sweet “Time Machine,” theatrical “IKUK,” and groovy “X,” as well as in reworked versions of old songs. In the wake of performance survival show Road To Kingdom 2: Ace of Ace, the group showed off their alternative versions of “No Diggity,” “LUNA,” and “Intro: Who Got The Joker?”

H_OUR, US allowed each member to shine not only as perfectly fitting pieces of a team, but as strong individual artists. For the first time, each member had the chance to showcase their unique style and talents through solo performances.

Traditional Korean culture and art have always found a perfect marriage within ONEUS’s performances. This often comes in the form of usual suspects, “LIT,” “LUNA,” and “Same Scent,” which beautifully imbue Korean culture into their stages. However, when the members took to the stage clad in rich red and black hanbok and black gat hats, they kicked things off with a highly anticipated cover of KPop Demon Hunters’ “Your Idol.”

The demon anthem blended effortlessly in ONEUS’s catalog. The Kaja Boys–as the members would jokingly refer to themselves during the tour–effortlessly carried the dark, alluring energy one would only expect of a group ready to steal the souls of a theater full of fans.

As the show was drawing near its close, Xion’s ending ment found him speaking about his day off, spent at Disneyland. As he spoke to the crowd, he pondered if the way he felt there was the same way ToMoon felt when attending a ONEUS concert.

It’s something worth considering. ONEUS have carefully crafted a world within their concerts–one that is immersive, and magical in a way that feels simply otherworldly. They’ve created their own “Happiest Place On Earth,” and all you need is a ticket to their show.
