“BONE SHAKER”
“Ridin’ (CAN YOU HEAR THAT)” (Title Track)
“RIGHT NOW”
“SILLY”
“Ridin’ (CAN YOU HEAR THAT) [Chinese Ver.]”
The EP's title track, “Ridin’ (CAN YOU HEAR THAT),” is an upbeat hip-hop-driven track with EDM production. The retro-synth rock sound carries the instrumental and makes the song groovy. The genre-blending highlights the members' versatility and gives the track an unpredictable edge. Matching the track's intensity, the members' vocals are high-pitched, high-energy, and fast-paced, while still keeping a soulful quirkiness. The runs, belts, and harmonies stand out against the hard-hitting beat, creating a well-balanced mix. Listeners wouldn’t know whether to sing along with the harmonies or scream with the members.
The music video pairs a striking visual concept with precision choreography. The music video uses a monotone color scheme, mostly blacks and grays, until certain scenes show them in gold. The concept is hard-hitting and more intense, and the members show that not only through the concept but also through the choreography. Matching the song's bass-thumping and hyped instrumental, the members' choreography is full of energy—fast-paced and densely layered. Standout moments add intricacy to the routine, like the domino effects and swift hand movements. It’s choreography that is captivating, and the members' quick movements catch listeners' attention; it’s a dance that will be fun to cover.
It’s fun to see the progression of MODYSSEY. From their debut to now, the group has surprised us every time. It’s exciting to see where MODYSSEY is headed, and 2.Multitude: How We Bloom - EP.
