It's that time of year again where people around the world bathe in the spookiness of October, ready to celebrate Halloween at the end of the month. Whether it is watching horror films, decorating rooms with creepy party decorations, or preparing fun and scary themed costumes, here are some spooky-season songs to set the Halloween mood.

“Sacrifice (Eat Me Up)” - ENHYPEN

Kings of horror concepts, ENHYPEN, deliver devilish, vampiric charm in their fourth mini-album DARK BLOOD. With a six-song tracklist, the third single “Sacrifice (Eat Me Up)” serves up a delicious plate of beautifully haunting vocals layered over an eerie, electronic R&B-pop production that suits the mood of this month's spooky season. For anyone unfamiliar with ENHYPEN, these boys are no strangers to captivatingly dark productions and the audio (and the title name) of “Sacrifice (Eat Me Up)” proves this; however, the music video takes on a lighter presence (mixed with some dark scenes) showing these vampires in angelic light, making ENHYPEN a must-have artist for any upcoming Halloween celebrations.

“Red Sun” - Dreamcatcher

Queens of horror-themed K-Pop concepts through both their songs and their music videos, girl group Dreamcatcher immediately become a staple piece of everyone's playlists during the October spooky season, each year. With the majority of their tracks having a chillingly stunning vibe, the alternative-pop track “Red Sun,” from their debut studio album Dystopia : The Tree of Language, stands out as an iconic song for Halloween. Through its beautifully creepy arrangement, complete with string instruments and bell sounds that deepen its haunting nature, “Red Sun” casts witchy vibes upon listeners' ears, holding them under a hypnotic spell with juxtaposing angelic vocals that make “Red Sun” a must-listen for every Halloween season.

“Monster” - SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN's hip-hop unit, composed of S.COUPS, WONWOO, Mingyu, and Vernon, deliver a fun-filled Halloween rap anthem on SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN: the album's fifth single “Monster.” From the very first note, “Monster” erupts with a playful yet spooky instrumentation before the lyrics begin to name check prolific monsters throughout pop culture: “Where my goblins? Where my Draculas/… My form pumped like Frankenstein.” While highlighting the rap talents of the hip-hop unit, the chaotic and quirky arrangement and the fun lyrics contribute to “Monster” becoming an ideal track for Halloween that will lift the energy and provide the perfect backdrop for this year's spooky season celebrations, for both CARAT (SEVENTEEN's fandom) and casual K-Pop listeners alike.
