Throwback Thursday: ZEROBASEONE Edition

On July 10, 2023, the BOYS PLANET competition show created a group that will forever go down in history. The group ZEROBASEONE is a light-hearted group with equally light-hearted music that will have you smiling from ear to ear, ready to sing and dance. The group now consists of five members, but at one point, they were a nine-member group whose bright vibes had the whole room having a good time. Let’s take it back and talk about some ZEROBASEONE songs that were a joy to listen to.
“In Bloom” - YOUTH IN THE SHADE - EP
On July 10, 2023, ZEROBASEONE debuted with their light-hearted and fun mini-album YOUTH IN THE SHADE - EP. A joyful EP with six songs, each track is so much fun to listen to and is so memorable. For example, their beautiful ballad “And I” is a heartwarming piece that would have you ready to sing along. The title track of the EP is their well-loved track “In Bloom.” Going down in history as one of the most well-known debut songs, “In Bloom” is a bubbly track with cheerful vocals and energetic choreography. Through the song, you can hear the strong vocals from the members, but as they do that, you can also hear the joy in their voices. The upbeat choreography is so much fun, and many still recreate it to this day. It’s a monumental release, and they did a fantastic job at making this a monumental moment for fans as well.
“Doctor! Doctor!” - Blue Paradise - EP
On February 24, 2025, ZEROBASEONE released their EP Blue Paradise, a beautiful EP with six equally beautiful songs. Each song is unique, and after one listen, you are bound to leave with a favorite. A favorite amongst many is another well-known track from their discography, “Doctor! Doctor!” It’s a very cute, light-hearted track with captivating vocals and a dreamy quality. The track was released before the EP and gave a look into what we could expect from it, and the boys did not disappoint. “Doctor! Doctor!” is a calm, beautiful track that will have you ready to sway and sing along.
“GOOD SO BAD” - CINEMA PARADISE
On August 26, 2024, the boys released their very upbeat and fun mini-album, CINEMA PARADISE. A fun release with so many fun songs like “KILL THE ROMEO,” “Road Movie,” and “Insomnia,” you will be on your feet jamming to the mini-album. The title track, “GOOD SO BAD,” is a carefree track with a playful vibe. The members sound angelic in this song, and as the song progresses, you realize how much of a masterpiece this song is. “GOOD SO BAD” is a beautiful song that will have you singing along to the lyrics.
