Throwback Thursday: My K-Pop Playlist on Shuffle Part 2

It is that time again. It is time for me to take my K-Pop playlist and press that shuffle button. This playlist has no theme–just songs that I love to sing along to. So, let’s take it back and see what songs play on shuffle.
ENHYPEN - “Fatal Trouble”
On May 13, 2024, ENHYPEN released their beautiful album DARK MOON SPECIAL ALBUM <MEMORABILIA> - EP, a breathtaking EP of six beautiful songs, which are memorable and become your favorites. One track that became a household name is their heartwrenching track “Fatal Trouble.” A beautiful song with powerful vocals, “Fatal Trouble” is majestic and will have you screaming the lyrics with the members. Throughout the song, you can hear the members performing smooth falsettos, strong runs, and powerful belts. There is so much emotion in this song as well. You can hear the heartbreak and yearning in their voices, and it makes the song even more fantastic. It’s a great song and will forever be one for the books.
NCT DREAM - “Irreplaceable”
On May 10, 2021, SM Entertainment boy group NCT Dream released their upbeat/hype album Hot Sauce - The 1st Album. A fun album with so many memorable songs, Hot Sauce - The 1st Album had us all excited while at home. With songs like “Hot Sauce,” “Diggity,” “Dive Into You,” “ANL,” it was hard to pick one favorite, but there was one song that had me and many others grasping for more: their striking track “Irreplaceable.” A beautiful song, with a lighthearted sound, “Irreplaceable” is a captivating track with strong vocals. Throughout the song, you can hear the members performing such strong belts, and the high notes are so commanding. It’s a great feel-good song that will always be a favorite of mine.
EXO-CBX - “Vroom Vroom”
On April 10, 2018, EXO subunit EXO-CBX, comprising former members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, released their lively mini-album Blooming Days - The 2nd Mini Album. 2018 is already considered one of the best years for K-Pop, and when EXO-CBX dropped this mini-album, lives were changed. Home to their iconic track “Blooming Day,” there is one B-side that resonated with many. Their track “Vroom Vroom” is an upbeat track with beautiful vocals and a retro theme. The song is so much fun. Throughout the song, the members harmonize with one another, creating beautiful melodies. It is such a great song, and will forever be one of my favorite EXO-CBX songs.
