TWS is back this summer with the release of their second Japanese single album. The group, known for their signature “boyhood pop” sound, inject joy into their latest title track “SODA SODA” and its eponymous single album, which came out on August 4. The three-track single album was made for kicking back under the sun.

  1. “SODA SODA”

  2. “Palm Tree”

  3. “If I’m S, Can You Be My N? - Japanese ver.”

Composed by Jin Jeon, Heon Seo, PARKMOONCHI and TWS members Youngjae, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, “SODA SODA” brings summer freshness through an uplifting pop instrumental with a bouncy bass line. The song describes an unspoken romance between two individuals whose feelings could burst out at any moment. TWS finds it hard to keep these feelings contained, much like the fizziness of soda.*

The “SODA SODA” music video shows TWS living out their summer. They start the day working at a beachside restaurant and end their night watching fireworks by the beach. These memories get preserved through summer diaries, each of which shows the release dates of TWS’s previous Japanese and Korean singles and EP.

Their new B-side “Palm Tree” and a Japanese version of “If I’m S, Can You Be My N?” round out the single album. “Palm Tree” keeps the energy pumping with pulsating club beats, which offer a different way to relax compared to the poppiness of “SODA SODA.” Fans will have the chance to experience these songs in-person during TWS’s 24/7:FOR:YOU tour, which reaches Fukuoka, Hyogo, and Kanagawa from late August to mid-September.
