LIVENow Launches Monthly K-Pop Series Starting With Powerhouse Group ONEUS
The virtual concert series starts on January 29 and will be held every month with a different K-Pop artist exclusively via LIVENow.
LIVENow, the premium streaming platform that recently live streamed virtual concerts with Black Eyed Peas and Lizzo to a global audience, announces a monthly series of virtual K-Pop concerts. Each month will feature a different K-Pop star streamed live from Seoul, South Korea.
On January 29, ONEUS will host a live streamed concert exclusively through LIVENow. Fans can watch the show 24 hours after purchasing a general admission or upgraded viewing package. Fans will be able to enjoy their electrifying, high energy performance as they power through their notable hits. Since their debut in 2018, ONEUS have become one of the most prominent boy bands in the booming genre. Recently, they participated in the hit reality TV show Road to Kingdom, which further catapulted them to prominence.
Their growth can be seen through their ever-growing discography, from studio album DEVIL to their six extended plays and several singles. Just last month, ONEUS sold 130k copies of their latest sixth mini-album BLOOD MOON within the first three days, surpassing the sales of all their previous albums. BLOOD MOON also reached No. 2 on the Gaon Album Chart and debuted at No. 5 on the United World Chart. The music video of “LUNA” had ten million views in the first 48 hours and is now at 22 million views on YouTube and increasing.
ONEUS is the second K-Pop band to perform exclusively on LIVENow: MAMAMOO’s virtual show streamed on the platform in 2021, which was followed by a string of successful international shows by Maroon 5, SZA, and more. Fans can purchase tickets for this amazing performance as well as a VIP/premium package for the opportunity for a meet and greet via LIVENow’s interactive features. Fans can also invite up to four friends to watch the show together from anywhere in the world using the platform’s “Watch Together” feature.
LIVENow gives fans unparalleled access to live and on-demand content across music, sports, and entertainment. LIVENow were recently awarded “Live Music Innovation of the Year (Platform)” at the 2021 Music Week Awards for the landmark streams of Dua Lipa’s Studio 2054, Ellie Goulding’s Brightest Blue, and Gorillaz’s Song Machine Live from Kong. The premium streaming platform has also broadcast live exclusive events with Lizzo, Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Russell Brand, and more.
