Sorn Announced Her First-Ever Solo Comeback “Sharp Objects”
Sorn just released a photo hinting at her first official release under WILD Entertainment and her second solo single after “RUN,” which was also released in collaboration with WILD in March 2021.
According to the press release, “Sharp Objects” is going to be an all-English electronic dance song with strong synth-pop elements that keep the energy constantly high with addictive rhythm and powerful drops. The catchy lyrics are said to express how loving someone can be as dangerous as playing with sharp objects, using “Sharp Objects” as a metaphor for the emotion. It is a daring story of falling in love where Sorn offers an empowering anthem of courage with lyrics like, “I’m not afraid, I play with sharp objects,” and, “I can take a papercut with no bandage.” The video also promised to show intense emotions through colors and lights, presenting a different energy and vibe than fans are used to, showing a more mature side of the South Korea-based Thai artist.
“Sharp Objects” will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on February 24 EDT (8 a.m. on February 25 KST) along with the music video on her new YouTube channel dedicated to her upcoming music.
