Fifth Generation K-Pop Boy Group ZEROBASEONE Sets Record with Over 1.08 Million Pre-Orders for Their Debut Album

“Fifth Generation K-Pop Boy Group” ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) has set a new milestone in the K-Pop industry.

On July 4, according to the album distributor Genie Music, ZEROBASEONE's (Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, Park Gunwook, and Han Yujin) debut album YOUTH IN THE SHADE has surpassed 1.08 million pre-orders in just 13 days since the pre-order began.

Within the first five days of the pre-order, ZEROBASEONE set a record amount of pre-orders for a K-Pop group’s debut album with 780,000 pre-orders. The group is the first debut group to be a million seller by having more than 1 million pre-orders, approximately one week before the official release.

Their tracklist includes six songs: the title track “In Bloom” along with “Back to ZEROBASE,” “New Kidz on the Block,” “and I,” “Our Season,” and “Always”’

The title track “In Bloom” defines the identity of the group’s debut album, as this track teases ZEROBASEONE’s first steps that are incomplete and immature yet going to bloom beautifully and brightly.

ZEROBASEONE, gathering much anticipation from K-Pop fans around the world even before their debut, is continually releasing teasers and content that reveal the debut album’s concepts and moods.
