ONF Goes Dark and Mysterious as their Comeback for BEAUTIFUL SHADOW gets Underway

Six months after their last LOVE EFFECT mini-album release and Canadian Tour, ONF (On and Off) is going non-stop into their next comeback. WM Entertainment released a time table for events surrounding their eighth mini-album BEAUTIFUL SHADOW which is scheduled to be released on April 8!

The group that’s known to be cheerful and bright is taking a turn to the other side as the full track list and just released “ONF ‘BEAUTIFUL SHADOW’ STORY FILM” show the group’s darker side. The film gives us a sense of what type of imagery we can expect in this comeback. Out is the bright light and in its place the mysterious dark and sexy.

Upon the video’s opening, we see one Wyatt lying on the floor with sounds of thunder and lightning, while his other self stares at him with the text,"Who will cease to exist under chaos?" Wyatt’s deep voice echos, “I was nobody” and “The story begins from here.” Starting with Seungjun, who finds “the letter of unknown origin,” he walks into a mysterious room and lights a candle. In the next second the figure has morphed into Hyojin as each member folds in and out of the space. Told to run, they collectively run towards the light in a post-apocalyptic manner.

WM notes that the concept photos will be soon released and will have images divided into three versions of themes, from “DARKNESS FOR LIGHT” to “BRING TO LIGHT,” and “WHITE NIGHT.” Fuses in Seoul will have the chance to see them live at the 2024 ONF Concert - Spotlight - in Seoul at the KBS Arena in Seoul on April 6 and 7. In the meantime, mark your calendars for the upcoming concept photo, video teasers and then finally the album release!
