Big Ocean, K-Pop’s first ever hard of hearing, deaf boy group, are set to embark on their first European tour this month with Underwater, in Europe. This tour will reveal unexpected sides to this young, groundbreaking trio who aim to change the perception of disability and music through complex choreographies integrated with International Sign Language as they perform songs in English and Korean, with the trio also able to sign in Korean sign language and American Sign Language.
This tour will see Big Ocean perform in five European cities: Lausanne, Milan, London, Paris, and Montpellier, from April 19 to April 27, 2025, with ticket contests held in each city for members of deaf and hard of hearing associations.
Composed of PJ, Chanyeon, and Jiseok, these three hard of hearing and hearing-aid equipped artists are true role models, setting a great example for those with disabilities wanting to achieve their dreams of becoming idols and performers. Since their debut in April 2024 with “Glow,” a remake of “Hope” by veteran idol group H.O.T, Big Ocean’s songs and performances continue to capture and celebrate the spirit of community by promoting inclusion, connection, and pushing one’s limits and creativity. Their performances captivate audiences and Pado’s (their fandom) everywhere they go, with them having already appeared on three top K-Pop music shows: SBS Inkigayo, MBC Music Core, and KBS Music Bank, and garnering a loyal fanbase on a national and international scale.
So, European Pados, get ready to meet Big Ocean as they make their way to you this month. Tickets can be found here. Grab them now as you don’t want to miss out on seeing this inspiring group making their splash in your city.
