Newly signed to Universal Music Korea, uniquely talented Korean hip-hop artist Bryan Chase has released a brand new track with Korean American rapper pH-1 called “Show Must Go On.”
The vulnerable hip-hop track is Bryan’s new release in nearly teo years and is the first release from Universal Music Korea, where he was announced to be signed last week via Variety. Produced by a renowned producer KUSH from THE BLACKLABEL, the track talks about overcoming highs and lows, and moving forward.
Bryan Chase is an artist who continues to expand his own musical spectrum both domestically and internationally, breaking down the boundaries between hip-hop and R&B with his unique tone, smooth rap skills, and vocal skills. Debuting in 2015 with the EP [Lost in the City Part.1], he was a member of the legendary Cohort crew, which once dominated the Korean hip-hop industry. In 2016, with the release of the album [The Last Orcas], his crew reached the peak of their international career in the history of Korean hip-hop crew. Their tracks “Let Us Prey,” “Walkin (Remix),” and “Underwater Bank,” released through 88rising, hit over 10 million views on YouTube.
Named by Hypebeast as “a staple of the underground rap scene of Seoul,” Bryan Chase is known for his versatility and melodic flows. Starting off strong with “No Flex Zone (remix)” a decade ago, he has been making a significant impact in Korea’s hip-hop scene along with his crew members, Okasian and Keith Ape. His artistry has led him to partnerships with THE BLACKLABEL, Interscope and 88rising, and a collaboration with K-Pop artist TAEYANG on “Nightfall,” and U.S. rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie on “2U.” Bryan Chase speaks on this new partnership; “Joining UMG is an incredible honor. We’ve built this from the ground up with love and belief in the music. Now with this partnership, we’re ready to share our sound with the world. This is a new beginning and we’re expecting great things ahead.”
Most recently, he was featured on “LOV3,” a track from Sik-K and Lil Moshpit's EP [K-FLIP+] released in March 2025. The collaboration has already been hailed by listeners as the “2025 Hip-Hop Track of the Year.”
