BamBam of GOT7 Unveils Pre-Release Track Ahead of First Thai Album, HOMETOWN

BamBam, rapper and singer of the globally acclaimed K-Pop group GOT7, has released his pre-release track “ไม่มีใครสักคืน (Dancing By Myself) (Feat. TIMETHAI).” This release marks the beginning of his highly anticipated first Thai album, HOMETOWN, set for release on October 10.

Ahead of the release, BamBam’s agency HALO Corporation unveiled the music video teaser a day prior to the official release. The teaser quickly captivated fans with its cinematic visuals, showcasing BamBam and featured Thai artist TIMETHAI performing together at a sky lounge overlooking the breathtaking night view of Bangkok. With sophisticated beats and sleek production, the preview offered a first glimpse of the bold new sound BamBam is bringing to his homeland.

“Dancing By Myself” introduces a fresh style of dance music rarely found in Thailand. The track carries the empowering message “I’m fine being alone,” celebrating the freedom of immersing in music, embracing the nighttime cityscape, and savoring one’s own company. BamBam not only wrote and composed the track but also collaborated with TIMETHAI, whose feature adds a dynamic layer to the song’s atmosphere and energy.

Born Kunpimook Bhuwakul in Bangkok, BamBam is a rapper, singer, and performer best known as a member of the globally renowned K-Pop group GOT7. Before debuting in Korea, BamBam was active in the Thai dance crew “we zaa cool” and appeared in numerous competition programs, Thai commercials, and even Hong Kong films. After moving to Korea at 14 to train under JYP Entertainment, BamBam debuted as part of GOT7 in 2014. The group went on to achieve international success, topping charts in Korea, Japan and the U.S. with multiple albums and singles. BamBam quickly became a fan favorite for his dance skills, bright personality, and trilingual fluency in Thai, Korean, and English.

Since launching his solo career in 2021, BamBam has revealed new dimensions of his artistry, expanding beyond his role as a rapper to showcase his distinct vocal color and songwriting talent.
