Global Pop Star HEYOON Returns with New EP Seriously Unserious, Featuring Focus Track “Swipe” with Brazil’s Lou Garcia
Global Korean pop star HEYOON returns with the release of her new EP Seriously Unserious, her first project of 2026 following a standout year that further cemented her growing international presence.
Built around the carefree spirit of the mantra “Leave Your Brain @ Home and Party,” Seriously Unserious delivers four vibrant dance and club-ready tracks—“aiaiai,” “swipe” feat. Lou Garcia, “switchhhhhh,” and “moneyyyyyyyyyyyyy”—each offering its own playful sonic identity. The EP celebrates the joy of letting go, inviting listeners to embrace the moment and enjoy music without overthinking. Speaking about the project, HEYOON shared: “Seriously Unserious—the name says it all. Let’s not take life too seriously and have funnnn. I wrote these songs 4 u to party!!!”
Leading the project is the focus single “swipe,” a high-energy collaboration with Brazil’s rising female artist Lou Garcia. Designed to ignite dance floors, the track aims to make waves across Brazil’s club scene–one of HEYOON’s strongest and most passionate fan markets. HEYOON is also credited as a co-writer and co-composer on both “swipe” and “switchhhhhh,” further showcasing her growing creative involvement in her music. Accompanying the single is a visually striking music video that captures the infectious chemistry between the two artists. HEYOON began her solo career in 2024 with the release of “Pivot” featuring Armani White in collaboration with Universal Music Group Korea. Before launching her solo career, HEYOON debuted in 2017 as a member of the global pop group Now United, created by music mogul Simon Fuller.
