Global K-Pop phenomenon ATEEZ continues the momentum of their latest era with a new remix of “BAD” from internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Steve Aoki. Known for his explosive festival-ready sound and collaborations with some of the biggest names in global music, Aoki brings a powerful new energy to ATEEZ’s addictive title track from GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5. As one of the world’s most recognizable EDM artists and live performers, Aoki’s signature high-energy production makes the remix a natural fit for ATEEZ’s performance-driven style. The single is out now via Sony Music Korea/RCA Records.
Originally released as the lead single from ATEEZ’s latest EP, “BAD” quickly captured attention for its instantly memorable hooks, confident attitude, and high-impact performance style. Steve Aoki’s remix amplifies that energy through massive electronic production, dynamic drops, and an arena-sized sound that transforms the track into a global dance anthem while preserving the charisma and intensity of the original.
The remix arrives as ATEEZ continues a major run of international promotions and festival appearances following their headlining set at BST Hyde Park in London on June 28, with additional headline performances still ahead in Poland, Istanbul, and at Italy’s Rock in Roma. The group also recently earned the grand prize at the Seoul Music Awards, further cementing their status as one of K-pop’s leading global acts.
Members Hongjoong and Mingi wrote lyrics for all tracks on GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, continuing ATEEZ’s strong creative involvement in their music and artistic direction.
The original “BAD” music video also generated global buzz for its cinematic visuals and the appearance of rising Hollywood actress Chase Infiniti, adding another dimension of international attention to the release.
