Ride the Rhythm with Latin-Inspired Track “Senorita” by VAV
VAV is back with their 5th digital single, “Senorita.” Fresh off their tour, they are coming back and transforming into passionate young men. According to the A team YouTube channel description of the “Senorita” music video, “Senorita” is actually a Korean rendition of the German mega hit with the same name. The original track was written by Kay One featuring Pietro Lombardi. Kay One’s version of the song dropped in September 2017, reaching 160 million views on YouTube and had over 400,000 in album sales in Germany alone, and even received Gold and Platinum records! The VAV rendition was produced with help from the producer of the original song Stard Ova and K-Pop hitmaker Ryan Jhun. Fans can easily expect a true bop from this duo.
The song itself has a highly addictive guitar riff that you can easily find yourself swaying your hips to or doing intense body rolls, either would be quite fitting to this urban R&B dance track. The melody ruled by the guitar paired with a swing base line makes this the perfect song to remind you of the sweet summer warmth as the cool autumn breeze begins to settle in.
The video features South American-inspired architecture dressed in tans, browns, and reds with crosscut shots of green screen and real life sets. The VAV members themselves are dressed in cooler tones in some scenes, and in others they are dressed head-to-toe in cottony white outfits. The choreography itself matched the Latin beats that overall made the video really pleasant to watch over... and over… and over again.
