Sophisticated Work Makeup Look
Most of the time, everyone is rushing out of the house to get to work on time—I know I am. Since you’re going to work, you still need to be presentable and follow business work attire. For that reason, we’ve got some products and makeup ideas that will help you do your makeup quickly in the morning.
Face
The best product to quickly complete your face makeup is the cushion foundation. Cushions can be lightly applied for a natural coverage with the hope of adding a special kind of glow to the skin. Most are also buildable for a medium-to-full coverage look, perfect for covering blemishes and pigmentation. Extra concealers are a thing of the past with cushion foundations, because the the end of the cushion puff can be used to build up the coverage in problem areas. The best part about using a cushion foundation is that it is easy to carry around in a bag, meaning you can easily fix your makeup throughout the day at work. Some recommended products are Moonshot’s Micro Setting Fit Cushion and Huxley’s Moist Cushion.
Eyes
For the eyes, simple is always best. You don’t want to execute intense makeup that may inevitably scare people off. The best choice is going for a natural brown like Aritaum’s Mono Eyes in M18 and simply applying it all over the eyelids for added depth. If you’d like even more dimension on the eyes, the perfect palette to use is Moonshot’s Honey Coverlet Eyeshadow Palette, which consists of two sides packed with product. One side of the palette has light, natural shadows while the other boasts more intense colors perfect for going out at night. For eyeliner, use a dark brown eyeshadow or light brown gel liner to make your eyes stand out a little. The last part of any eye makeup look is mascara, which may be lightly applied with one to three coats on the lashes.
Lips
Last but definitely not least is the best part, and one that completes any full makeup look: lips. Lip tints are great options if you don’t have much time to fix your makeup during the day. If you find lip tints too drying, then feel free to use a moisturizing lipstick as well. Natural colors are best when completing any look, but if you want something that will stand out, then opt for brighter pinks, corals, or red lip colors. Usually, brighter colors are better for the summer and spring time while toned-down nude colors suit the fall and winter seasons. Some lip products we recommend for this season are 3CE’s Mood Recipe Matte Lip Color in #221 Mellow Flower and The Face Shop’s Moisture Touch Lipstick in BE03 Beige Rococo.
