Throwback Thursday: Best of Roy Kim

We are back for another Throwback Thursday, and this week, we are heavily in post-concert depression after KCON LA 2018. Roy Kim was one of the artists featured in this year’s lineup and we couldn’t get him off of our minds. So, we had to highlight a few of his songs this week for Throwback Thursday! Here are some of the best from Roy Kim.

“Heaven”

If you are a huge fan of K-Drama, especially the hit drama Goblin, Roy Kim’s “Heaven” was part of the original soundtrack! The song is a soothing acoustic ballad featuring Kim EZ and is a song to play if you’re looking for a lullaby. Both Roy Kim and Kim EZ blend together in such a magnificent way, you can’t help but fall in love while listening to it. For the K-Drama fans out there, this will definitely bring back memories of watching Goblin and will most likely make you want to re-watch it again.

“Egoist”

While Roy Kim is known for his soft, acoustic sounds, he also likes to spice up his releases from time to time, and “Egoist” is one of his tracks that is more upbeat and fun. “Egoist” will instantaneously bring a smile to your face the moment you listen to it. The music video itself showcases a more fun, cute, and comedic side to the artist as he tries to run away from his pretty love interest. It’s towards the end of the music video that you see Roy’s true feelings come out, as he may look like he’s running away and trying to avoid his love interest, but secretly has affection for her the whole time. Check out Roy Kim’s “Egoist” down below!

“Love Love Love”

Another upbeat song from Roy is “Love Love Love,” and it will fill your heart with joy. If you’re ever having a bad day, listening to “Love Love Love” ensures a brighter and happier day. The music video for “Love Love Love” features Roy the year he debuted, where he is out doing busking events and performing live on the street for fans and passersby. It makes you wish you can also sit back with Roy and listen to him play, doesn’t it? Aside from that, Roy Kim definitely has the boy-next-door vibe; you can’t help but smile whenever he comes around with his guitar. If you haven’t gotten yourself into Roy Kim just yet, you’re missing out and should really give him a listen! You won’t be disappointed!
