BTOB-BLUE Sings “When It Rains”

After almost two years, the BTOB vocal sub-unit, BTOB-BLUE has returned with a new digital single. The single and music video were released on August 2nd, titled “When It Rains.”

“When It Rains” is a true BTOB-BLUE ballad with powerful, clear vocals and a grand melody that draws you in and leaves you speechless at the end. The song starts off with piano and a sound that almost feels nostalgic. A romantic acoustic guitar is added to the melody, making the sound even more special. It’s a song about heartbreak and sorrow.

The music video shows all the members in different places, Hyunsik and Eunkwang working in a cafe, Changsub at home, and Sungjae walking outside after grocery shopping, until the end of the video when they all meet up together in the cafe. With many shots being filmed from outside the windows in every location, it emphasizes the rain. Cool-toned colors are used to created the atmosphere in the video.

BTOB’s vocal line never disappoints with their mind blowing talent or holds back on anything, and this release proves exactly this. Definitely recommended if you are a fan of ballads, but don’t worry if you aren’t already, listening to this might make you a fan.
