KARD Become Gods in “Dumb Litty”
KARD is back after four months to make it littier than ever before.
The co-ed group graced the week by releasing a powerful music video for their latest digital single, “Dumb Litty.” The track becomes the act’s second single of the year after releasing “Bomb Bomb” in March. The group, known for their dominant music style, once again roars with might.
The Single
HIDDENs brace yourselves as the quartet make their way into your playlist with domineering instruments hailing their return. The bombastic beat proclaims the group’s strength in music as Jiwoo begins singing “Get out of my business, you don’t keep me from turning up” with pride and command. The heavy synch-driven piece continues to sing about the confidence of being unique and partying without worrying about a thing in a boastful manner. Notably, J.seph takes on a distinguished rap verse for himself, exhilarating the mood along with Jiwoo, B.M, and Somin while they display their charisma in their soaring vocals and rap. The explosive track further captures our attention with its repetitive chorus lines, “We go dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb whatever anyone else we go litty dumb.” Being inevitably catchy, the chorus keeps the single rhythmic and sets the tone in a grand way.
The Music Video
Adding up to the powerful track, the co-ed group walks in as gods of Olympus, boasting their visual richness. The distinguished members flash in as histrionic Greek gods to seize every viewer and leave them speechless. Adorned with dazzling jewelry and gleaming outfits, Somin acts as Aphrodite (goddess of love) and Chloris (goddess of flowers), while Jiwoo portrays as Hera (queen of gods) and Athena (goddess of wisdom). J.seph plays as Ares (god of war) and Dionysus (god of wine), and B.M graces us as Zeus (king of gods) and Thor (god of lightning). The colorful ambiance and props display a modernized Olympus set up before our eyes. The savage attitude follows through with their aggressive and heavy choreography.
With such dominant vocals and visual treats, “Dumb Litty” is indeed a recommended watch.
