CLC Goes Up in New Track “HELICOPTER”

CLC has released their much anticipated single after a long one-year hiatus. The track “HELICOPTER” is a trap pop and EDM track that shows off the groups confidence and charisma. Yeeun took part in writing the lyrics for this track alongside Jo Yoonkyung and BreadBeat. The track was composed by Hyuk Shin, Melanie Joy Fontana, Michel Schulz, and Jisoo Park. The group definitely showed off a powerful performance through the music video, not only from their impactful and sharp dance moves, but also with their vocals. Yeeun in particular stood out during the song with her powerful and unique rapping style. Seunghee also finishes the track perfectly with her powerful vocals harmonizing with the rest of her members. 

This whole music video screams glam and extravagant. The girls are seen dancing along to their track with confidence and precision. Each member has her own unique solo shots during her singing parts that show off each member’s unique charms. The video was filled with flashing lights everywhere that is similar to a helicopter when it lands at night. The video starts off with a cute message in the clouds that says “We won’t be lonely at the top” which expresses that the group will always support and love their fans no matter what.
