LUCY, AKMU’s Suhyun, and Kim Eana Come Together for “LOVE ME LOVE YOU”

In a sweet and refreshing collaboration, LUCY, AKMU’s Suhyun, and lyricist Kim Eana come together in partnership with KARA THE BOM CENTER to promote loving pets in the hopes that they would never be neglected or abandoned again. For all those who are pet lovers, “LOVE ME LOVE YOU” expresses the love and affection through the perspective of pets themselves. There are many animals that are left in shelters and in search of their forever home. As the song progresses, it’s the pets themselves that are thankful to be part of a family that is taking them in. “LOVE ME LOVE YOU” is a reminder to all people that pets are a part of the family and deserve love and affection. The song and project aims to encourage listeners to also consider going to a shelter and adopting if they are able to do so.  

Although the music video does not feature the artists themselves, what really drives the cute and endearing song is the colorful artwork that follows the journey of a dog who was once abandoned and alone, but is found by the human who becomes their owner. Both the dog and their owner found each other at a time when they needed it the most and since then, they grew an unbreakable and loving bond. The song is light and whimsical, with LUCY providing most of the instrumentals that they are known for.
