June is Pride month, a time where we celebrate and honor the achievements of the LGBTQ+ community. One such achievement is the increase of Boys’ Love (BL) and Girls’ Love (GL) K-Dramas. There have been some popular BL K-Dramas in the past, and there seems to be an increase in international demand for more. So here are five dramas that focus on Boys’ Love and Girls’ Love.
To My Star
Drama fans can binge this 10 episode web drama in one day, with each episode lasting about 16 minutes. Kang Seojoon (Son Woohyun) is a failing actor that believes his luck is changing for the better when he meets chef Han Jiwoo (Kim Kangmin). Despite their personalities being completely different, Seojoon falls head over heels for Jiwoo. The two begin a relationship, but almost immediately start to have problems when they realize that they both have values they aren’t willing to compromise.

Afraid Of
One simple action has caused Hyunah (Cho Sumin) to question everything. When Minju (Lee Gayun) stops Hyunah from exchanging numbers, Hyunah’s mind and heart begin to spiral. She hasn’t come to terms with her feelings, so she tries to find ways to become more confident. Will she be able to share her feelings with Minju? You Make Me Dance
Contemporary dance major Song Shion (Chu Youngwoo) is in the middle of a crisis, as his family has thrown him out of the house after an enormous fight. He wants to continue on his path to dance professionally, but now that his family has cut him off, he has to figure out how to survive.
Shion finds himself renting an apartment with Jin Hongseok (Won Hyunghoon), a debt collector that works for Chachacha Capital. He wanted to become a pianist before the harsh reality of life caused him to start his current job. After moving in with Shion, he realizes that he deserves a second chance at what he enjoys. Hongseok and Shion begin a romance, but are challenged by society and jealous coworkers. Will they be able to work through their problems and let their love bloom?

Am I The Only One With Butterflies?
This multi-season web drama is one of the shortest dramas on the list, but that doesn’t mean it should be skipped. Season one has three episodes, while season two has four. Each episode is around six minutes and follows Jungah (Kim Jungah) as she starts work at a new company. As soon as her boss, Manager Lee (Lee Yooha), walks into the room to greet the new hires, Jungah falls in love. Will her boss feel the same way?
