Stray Kids B-Sides

Kingdom: Legendary War crowned Stray Kids as its winner following a two month run. Over the years, Stray Kids have garnered a massive following and achieved great feats with their critically acclaimed self-produced discography, so let’s take a look at some of the group’s best B-side tracks.

“Victory Song”

The song that started the group’s Kingdom journey during the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards was “Victory Song” from their album Clé 1 : MIROH. The boastful track is quite literally about having won a war before the war even begins. With an EDM drop and all members chanting the chorus, “Victory Song” not only became a fan-favorite but was also acclaimed by critics.

“Easy”

Throughout their performances on Kingdom, Stray Kids made references to the overarching wolf theme. This eerie B-side from their studio album GO生 is also part of the wolf storyline created by Stray Kids. Despite using heavy auto-tune, the track's hard-hitting rap is still impactful and it works in favor of the song’s overall vibe.

“Voices”

Appearing on their mini-album I am WHO, “Voices” is a lyrical masterpiece. The boys sing their hearts out on this EDM-heavy track about the self-inflicted stress they are under. Tormented by their own internalizations of social expectations and doubts, “Voices” has become an integral track in their discography.

“Mixtape#2”

Mixtape tracks have been a signature of Stray Kids ever since before their debut. “Mixtape#2” from their special album Clé 2: Yellow Wood is a mellow track about the struggles Stray Kids have faced as they progress through their careers. With extremely relatable lyrics, it’s definitely a track that can lift up the listener’s spirits.

“3rd Eye”

Known for their interesting arrangements and compositions, 3RACHA, the group’s resident producing unit, shared their most creative arrangement yet on “3rd Eye.” The hard-hitting rap moments are amplified by the track’s dreamy backdrop, and the lyrics flow as an argument between two conflicting perspectives which fit the track’s overall message.
