EVERGLOW is best-known for their dance and EDM tracks that give a burst of energy with each listen. With over two years together as a popular fourth-generation group, these girls continue to take the world by storm and showcase passion in their music, especially with their most recent comeback, “FIRST.”

The Kraze was given the fortunate opportunity to chat with EVERGLOW, where they reflected on their two years together, a recent accomplishment they achieved, and more! Check out what EVERGLOW had to say below!

Q: I recently heard that your debut music video “Bon Bon Chocolat” reached 100 million views on YouTube, congratulations! Do you have any advice for rookie idols just starting out in this industry?

E:U: I was very nervous and worried when I first debuted, but I am so grateful for the love I received. It may be hard at first, but I believe that good results will follow if you are diligent!

Q: Out of your entire discography, which song is the most memorable for you? And why?

Sihyeon: For me, it's “달아 (Moon).” We recorded this song before our debut title “Bon Bon Chocolat” and I remember that we were super ecstatic by the fact that “달아 (Moon)” was our first song that is our own.

Q: Is there anything you do to prepare yourself before an upcoming performance?

Mia: I tend to get very nervous before performing on stage, so I try to ease my nervousness by relaxing the tension in my body and neck area.

Q: What’s one song you’d like to cover one day?

Onda: If possible, I hope to cover “Rain On Me” to cheer on our fans, Forever!

Q: What’s one thing you’d like to do on your rest days?

Aisha: I want to go to the amusement park!!

Q: Do you have any future goals for EVERGLOW?

Yiren: We hope that more people grow to love our songs and performances, and that our songs can guide them to lead a more confident life.

Q: Is there anything important you’ve learned in the two years you’ve been a group?

E:U: Through our trainee days, I thought that I knew a lot about my members, but through these two years after debut, I felt that I got a step closer to them. A lot of understanding and respect for each other seems to play an important part.

Q: Do you have any words of wisdom that encourage you each day?

Sihyeon: Whenever I hear Forevers shout out, “Sihyeon, you did well” after our stages, I feel extremely encouraged and grateful.

Q: With the ongoing pandemic, many have used their free-time to learn a new skill. Have you picked up any new skills during this time?

Mia: I’m the type to not leave the house often, so I haven’t tried out any new hobbies but reading really helped me a lot. Finding a good book and the process of getting through it is enjoyable; on days when I can’t sleep, I voluntarily go about finding a hard book to read. A good amount of the content sticks with me and I fall asleep very quickly [laughs].

Q: Is there a city or country you’d like to visit (once the pandemic ends)?

Onda: I hope to visit Belgium! We all like desserts, so we definitely want to try Belgium chocolates or waffles! I also want to visit Italy and get more musical inspiration from the street musicians!

Q: Onda, I noticed you enjoy making TikToks on EVERGLOW's official TikTok account. Are there any new trends or challenges that you’re interested in doing with EVERGLOW members?

Onda: The West Side Challenge and CL’s newest release, “Spicy!” I also want to create steps or movements that we can all enjoy together!

Q: Is there anything you’d like to tell your fans, Forevers?

Yiren: Our fans, Forever! Thank you so much for making so many great memories with us! Thanks to your love and support, we are able to work harder, and even when hard times hit, we will be able to endure them. Let's be together forever! I love you, Forever!
