“Silent Night”

Distorted instrumentals which are mostly electronic bring out Dreamcatcher’s unmatched energy on “Silent Night.” The song is included on the group’s special album, Raid of Dream, which was released in collaboration with the video game King’s Raid. The psytrance outro of the song is the main highlight, finishing the song with a punch.

“Jazz Bar”

The laid-back and groovy “Jazz Bar” is one of Dreamcatcher’s most unique songs. The mid-tempo track is a fresh take on jazz and a perfect soundtrack to a night at a Parisian city bar. The track also features a nice surprise by the group’s rapper Dami, who serenades listeners with her soft vocals.

“Trap”

While “Trap” is in line with Dreamcatcher’s rock/metal sound, the lyrics are what set “Trap” apart among their B-side songs, matching the tight instrumentation in the song’s pre-chorus, chorus, and post-chorus. With the girls singing about a suffocating relationship, the intensity in the message can be heard in the track’s lyrics and sound. 

“And There Was No One Left”

A very interesting song in itself, “And There Was No One Left” mixes an acoustic beat with some orchestral arrangements, adding to the song’s eerie vibe. The post-chorus drop in the song is also unique; it poses a nice sonic juxtaposition with the delicate vocals on the song.

“Wonderland”

“Wonderland” finds Dreamcatcher delivering one of their best vocal performances over a subtle beat. The track perfectly encapsulates the theme of being alone in the city by yearning to escape to a wonderland. The sultry R&B melody creates Dreamcatcher’s signature eerie atmosphere, a side I hope Dreamcatcher explores more.
