Thanks to TikTok, “NalinA” is still a track you may hear today. Block B really brings the aggression with this song, making it perfect for when you want to release steam after a rough day. Block B primarily raps throughout “NalinA” and adds lots of fun English lines such as, “I’m so groove, so special,” and, “I don’t know, but I’m hot, hot.” The chorus uses a repetition of “NalinA” that is so addicting, really making this track a powerhouse.
BAD BOY - BIGBANG
“BAD BOY” gives the listener a mix of emotion in this R&B/hip-hop song. Each member gets their own individual chance to showcase themselves and their style throughout “BAD BOY” and neatly ties together for the chorus. The music video is slightly more on the simple side as it follows the members around the streets of New York City during their various verses. The members are dressed in their own style, honing in on their individual talents and skills that effortlessly join when they come together both in the chorus and in the music video, creating such a cool performance.
Volume Up- 4Minute
4Minute brings the sexy, cool concept with “Volume Up.” It is a dance track with hard bass and stunning vocals that one could easily hear blasting in a club. It is all about a girl getting dumped and then wanting to turn the volume up on their music so that their ex can hear it. The music video brings sexiness to the dark and gothic style with bold fashion looks that make the members feel irresistible to watch.
Gangnam Style- PSY
“Gangnam Style” is an unforgettable track due to its catchy electronic sound, silly dance, and lyrics that comment on high society that made it worldwide famous. PSY’s visual of wearing a clean-cut suit and sunglasses, while breaking out into the ridiculous horse riding dance will remain iconic in K-Pop and internationally.
