Sweet Boys Turning Fierce — DKZ is Back

Joining K-Pop’s tiger family, DKZ is back fiercer than ever and contrasting their latest release, the rather refreshing “Cupid.” DONGYO ENTERTAINMENT’s seven-member boy group is back with a new single album, CHASE EPISODE 3. BEUM.

The track, “호랑이가 쫓아온다 (Uh-Heung),” is full of courage, putting temptation and fear behind you as you go for what you want in life—which may or may not be feeding the tiger who’s chasing after you (a reference to the Korean title’s translation) a cake. The eager messaging is expressed beyond just the lyrics by the powerful mixing of pop, electronic, and hip-hop elements on the track. This gives a more mature and charismatic image to Kyoungyoon, Munik, Jaechan, Jonghyeong, Giseok, Mingyu, and Sehyeon than what we usually see from the group.

The accompanying music video follows the newly introduced charisma of the group. The boys show off great acting skills, portraying the temptation turning into determination, accentuated with upbeat, energetic choreography. If you haven’t yet, make sure to check out the music video below!
