FNC Entertainment: AOA VS. N.Flying

Today’s date, May 16, marks the anniversary of two albums released by two different FNC Entertainment artists; K-Pop girl group AOA released Good Luck in 2016 and K-Rock/Pop band N.Flying released How Are You? in 2018. Interestingly, both happen to be each group's fourth mini-album release. So for this week’s article, let's take a look at a couple of B-sides from these two FNC Entertainment albums that happened to be released on the same date, two years apart.

"10 Seconds" - AOA

With a dreamy, ‘80s-inspired backing track, "10 Seconds" is a song that is perfect for a summery nighttime setting. The song highlights the girls' vocals perfectly and gives them a more mature sound that those only familiar with AOA’s upbeat, pop sounds might be used to.

"Still Falls the Rain" - AOA

"Still Falls The Rain" is a heartfelt ballad that highlights the vocal maturity of the girls as they sing about a breakup. The song is slow yet powerful, and has a really beautiful sound of pianos and drums that contribute toward it being a really pleasing track to close their album with.

"Anyway" - N.Flying

"Anyway" is a fun and upbeat track that gives off an amazing vibe, perfect for those summer days ahead. For UK-based K-Pop fans, the guitar instrumentation in "Anyway" has quite a heavy Busted and McFly feel to it that is great and gives the song a sense of nostalgia for those of us who grew up with this kind of music.

"Fall With You" - N.Flying

"Fall With You" is a B-Side whose sound would work perfectly as a K-Drama OST. It’s a powerful and intense track that is both upbeat and downbeat at the same time. And as always, Seunghyub's rap and Hweseung's vocals, against the band's instrumentation, complement each other greatly.
