Queendom 2 Drops Brand-New Finale Tracks

Are you ready for the final episode of Queendom 2? If you've been watching the Mnet idol competition program since April like we have, then you're probably excited about the brand-new tracks that were released for the upcoming finale episode.

As part of the voting process to determine the final winner of the competition, songs by each competitor were released in advance in order for the streams to be counted for their final scores. Each stream will count toward the digital score component of the live vote for the finale on Thursday, June 2.

This year's lineup of Queendom 2 features strong competitors WJSN, LOONA, Brave Girls, VIVIZ, Kep1er, and soloist Hyolyn battling to crown themselves for the reigning title of the "real Queen." Needless to say, all contestants are massively talented no matter how much experience they have as K-Pop idols. From battle rounds that focused on signature songs, cover performances, position unit performances, and FANtastic performances (fan-picked songs), there's been a multitude of jaw-dropping shows throughout the season that will prepare you for what's to come for the finale.

For their finale songs, each contestant shows off their unique charms, flair, and distinct personality with these addictive tracks. After listening to all six singles, the battle stages for each performance will definitely be thrilling to watch! It'll be hard to pick a favorite from the diverse range of song styles to choose from. Check out the brand-new finale songs below!

Hyolyn - “Waka Boom (My Way) (feat. Lee Youngji)”

With its hypnotizing sound arrangement and hints of rap from the badass soloist Hyolyn, there's already an expectation that she will dominate the stage for “Waka Boom (My Way)” fiercely. With such high energy, Hyolyn is certain to turn up the heat and steal the show with this upbeat number. The song features rapper Lee Youngji in her final performance, adding a hip flavor to a strong anthem like "Waka Boom (My Way)."

LOONA - “POSE”

Connecting to the title of their song "POSE," LOONA's single has a fashion show-esque aspect to it that leaves you curious about what's to come. The chorus implies a possible dance break moment that will hype up the crowd. There's no denying that LOONA is capable of taking the crown with such a trendy single that'll never leave your mind.

WJSN - “AURA”

With just a few whistles starting off the song "AURA," it's sensed that WJSN is leading a battle. This song appears to take us on a journey, somewhere unknown that only WJSN can take listeners through. The song leaves curiosity of what kind of production and theme they will prepare for the finale stage. Just as you can hear in their vocals, WJSN has the confidence and the storytelling capabilities to take this crown.

Kep1er - “THE GIRLS (Can’t turn me down)”

The newest and youngest of the competition, Kep1er is bringing a new sound in "THE GIRLS (Can't turn me down)." The EDM-inspired track has a cool girl crush sound, perfect for the finale round to prove that they are a strong force to be reckoned with as rookies—there's even a moment in the song that may result in a dance break. Either way, Kep1er will give the performance of a lifetime with this catchy single.

Brave Girls - “Whistle”

Matching perfectly with Brave Girls's catchy summer vibe and discography, "Whistle" will have you dancing along to the groovy beat and leave you visualizing a relaxing and sunny summer day in paradise. You can just imagine the whole stage filled with dancers, bouncing along to the beat next to Brave Girls, with happiness in the air. If there's one thing that's certain, Brave Girls will definitely bring out a party with this single.

VIVIZ - “Red Sun!”

The soft and airy "Red Sun!" will push your troubles away after listening to VIVIZ's serenading vocals. The touching melody and colorful orchestra will uplift the atmosphere and listeners. It's been said online that this single was under consideration for release while GFRIEND was active, so now VIVIZ is releasing it as a trio. If this is correct, it's a lovely dedication to their fans who've watched them for years.

Do you have a favorite from the list? Make sure to cheer on your favorite contestant for the upcoming season finale. Queendom 2 will air its season finale live on June 2 on Mnet at 9:20 p.m. KST, so be sure to tune in and see who is crowned the winner!
