K-Hip-Hop on Tour!

By now, we’re all used to being overrun with group tours since the world opened up. While there are tons of K-Pop groups coming stateside (and worldwide!), we are also getting more tours for other Korean artists. Personally, I can highly recommend the experience of seeing these artists on tour, especially since it’s a very different experience from a K-Pop concert. Keep an eye out for these artists coming to a city near you in the next few months!

Epik High

I saw Epik High on tour both in 2019 and again last year in 2022, and this year along with the tour announcement, the trio released a new album (you can read more on that here). The crowd at Epik High shows is vastly different from a classic K-Pop concert, but that’s what makes it such a refreshing experience. On top of that, the personality of all three members is overflowing and beyond entertaining. Stellar music coupled with unmatched energy and hilarious ments really showcase why Epik High is such a successful group and inspiration for many artists in the K-Hip-Hop space. Definitely invest in this show if they’re near you; it’s worth it.

AOMG

While Epik High is the only tour I can speak personally on, there is something to be said for the talent at AOMG. In March, a number of the artists from the label will be going on tour in Europe. What’s nice about this is that it’s not like a traditional tour with one artist, but provides the opportunity to see a number of them live. For the moment, the lineup includes Simon Dominic, LOCO, GRAY, LEE HI, Yugyeom, and Coogie. With a veteran status for many of these artists in the industry, the show is sure to be something unforgettable.

Sik-K

If you’re looking for a tour experience totally opposite of K-Pop, a Sik-K show is probably where you will find it. It will be interesting to see what Sik-K has planned for this tour, given that he hasn’t been as active since completing his mandatory military service and his contract with H1GHR MUSIC expired last year. Regardless, as an artist he’s definitely got a lot of years under his belt, so he’s guaranteed to be a great act.

pH-1

pH-1 has just recently wrapped up his North American portion of his tour (read more about it here), but he will be traveling over to Europe in March. The Korean-American rapper gained popularity after he appeared on Show Me The Money 777, and is currently signed to H1GHR MUSIC. Most recently he released his second full-length album But for Now Leave Me Alone in September. If his American tour stops are any indication, his show is guaranteed to be a great one for European fans.
