KISS OF LIFE Impress with Their Individual Concept Styling

Debuting in the heart of summer, KISS OF LIFE is showing that they are a force to be reckoned with. The four-member girl group’s concept and styling have already caught the eyes of many, and the team's global impact can almost be predicted.

The group, consisting Julie, Natty, Belle, and Haneul, is under S2 Entertainment, where they are currently being directed by Lee Haein, who is also making her creative director debut.

With the styling of SENSYAL, each of the members were uniquely introduced through a series of videos showcasing each of the members' concepts.

What catches your eye the most about KISS OF LIFE is how contrasting each of their styles are, and how they manage to coordinate in a way that isn't in traditional color schemes.

Julie's style is one of the most prevalent in KISS OF LIFE. With her past training at YG Entertainment, her dark features were highlighted through her concept in her solo track, “Kitty Cat.”

As the oldest member of the group, Julie was able to portray a mature concept through her solo music video, fans dubbing her KISS OF LIFE's baddie. One of her main outfits features a mini dress and oversized jacket combination, which is styled with thigh high socks and heels, with the bold accessories to match.

A lot of people recognise Natty as an all-rounder—shown on her appearances on Sixteen and Idol School—however, her dancing skills prevail the most. For her solo track “Sugarcoat,” the main points of her outfits lie in the “big pants, small top” silhouette, which is often sported by dancers.

From the comfortably baggy clothes ranging from hoodies to jeans, to the hooped earrings and the red paisley bandana print, Natty's dancing background was shown from beginning to end.

Fans were shocked to find out that Belle had been active as a producer before debuting as an idol. Finding her individual style within that transitional period could have brought challenges; however, under Lee Haein's creative direction, “Countdown” was able to bring that color to light.

There is an elegance to the ballet life that was hinted at within the music video and carried through Belle's styling of her gray pleated skirt matched with her Christian Dior star top that is worth pointing out.

However, we saw Belle breaking this mold as she ends the music video in her own style, switching into a dark sequin dress topped with a cow print fur coat.

As the youngest member, Haneul was able to portray a more playful style through “Play Love Games.”

From the light dungarees styled with a bright faux fur beanie and stickers across her cheeks, to the statement skirt styled with an equally colored top, Haneul's maknae vibe shines through.

KISS OF LIFE have made an impact with their debut EP and have shown potential of being future style icons through their own concepts and through their group image, as well. We can’t wait to see what the quartet has in store next!

KISS OF LIFE is available now on Spotify and all streaming platforms.
