Dreamcatcher’s [My Christmas Sweet Love] - Single is a Gift to Us All
We have been given a gift from our rock queens, Dreamcatcher. [My Christmas Sweet Love] - Single is a beautiful mixture of Dreamcatcher’s signature rock sound and a light-hearted Christmas tune. There are three songs that each have such a unique sound to them.
[My Christmas Sweet Love] - Single Tracklist:
“My Christmas Sweet Love”
“Jazz Bar (Carol ver.)”
“Wonderland (Carol ver.)”
The first song, “My Christmas Sweet Love,” merges the rock sound we know and love from Dreamcatcher with a bubbly Christmas tune. The music starts light with a cute jingle, and we are met with soft, beautiful vocals. The chimes of the bells build up the tempo. You then start to hear the strums of an electric guitar and the sound of a drum. Once the chorus starts, that rock sound can be heard. While listening to the song, you can’t help but smile and get into that Christmas spirit.
The music video is something that stood out as well. In the video, you see the members recording the song. They are dressed in Santa hats and jackets. They look so comfortable in their sweaters and super festive in their reindeer ears and Christmas-themed glasses. It’s also really cool to see the members creating this song themselves. You can see them giving input, working the soundboard, and recording the vocals. Seeing them put so much into this song feels like a real gift, making InSomnias feel so loved.
The following two songs are Christmas remakes of previously released songs. “Jazz Bar” is a B-side from their first album, [Dystopia: The Tree of Language]. The second song, “Wonderland,” is a B-side from their EP, Alone In The City. It’s so cool to hear a Christmas spin to these already-known and loved songs from them.
[My Christmas Sweet Love] - Single is a beautiful EP to listen to during this holiday time. It’s nice to see such a bright and bubbly concept from the members while keeping to their authentic sound. So, check out [My Christmas Sweet Love] - Single for a lovely Christmas tune.
