Artist Highlight: P1Harmony

The six member boy group that is making a name for themselves on their own terms.

P1Harmony debuted on October 28, 2020 under FNC Entertainment. The group maintains a unique sound that stands out due to their versatile vocalists and rappers. Their youngest member Jongseob has the longest career out of the sextet and participated in competition shows as a rapper since the age of 11. Following their debut, P1Harmony released their first EP DISHARMONY : STAND OUT  with the title track “SIREN” which has accumulated over 17 million views on YouTube. The members have all taken part in writing on their tracks with rappers Intak and Jongseob being credited with writing the most songs. After over three years, P1Harmony has finally released their first full-length album that is filled with the visuals and energy that is unique to them.

P1H: The Beginning of a New World

Two months before the group's debut, a teaser poster for the movie P1H: The Beginning of a New World was released. The movie is an action packed sci-fi starring the six P1Harmony members. They each possess a supernatural ability and are split between past, present, and future as they use their powers to fight against an extraterrestrial virus that takes over the entire world. The movie also features Jung Yonghwa of CNBLUE and Seolhyun of AOA who serve as mentors for the group and guide them on their journey.

Keeho possesses space-time manipulation, Theo has precise accuracy and can hit any target, Jiung has telekinesis, Intak has hyper durability with the ability to naturally heal his wounds,

Jongseob possesses omnifabrication (the ability to invent anything), and while Soul’s power has been labeled as “mystery”, his true power is theorized to be a mix of all of the members' powers combined. Each member has an introduction to their power in the YouTube series W+W (Welcome to +WORLD) .While there is said to be no plan for a second movie, the group's music videos often include imagery from P1H: The Beginning of a New World and supernatural occurrences, including two of their newer music videos “Back Down” and “JUMP”. 

“때깔 (Killin' It)” and Music Bank win

After six EP’s, P1Harmony has brought their first studio album, Killin’ It, to the table. Leader Keeho has called this the album where the group is being true to themselves without playing it safe. While the Korean title “때깔” does not have a direct English translation, it is described as a unique look or color. With this, P1Harmony is showcasing the styles that are unique to them and embracing their unique colors. On January 16, 2024, P1Harmony received their first ever win on KBSMusic Bank. Not only is this the group's first ever music show win, but it is also their first award overall. Killin’ It has peaked at No. 1 on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart and Billboard's World Albums Chart.
