Artist Highlight: Tomorrow x Together

The powerful rookie group that turned into fourth generation sensations.

DEBUT

TXT (Tomorrow x Together) debuted under Big Hit Entertainment on March 4, 2019. The quintet released the EP The Dream Chapter: STAR, which peaked at No. 1 on both South Korea’s Circle Album Chart and Billboard’s US World Albums Chart. TXT received their first music show win just eight days after their debut, making them one of the fastest groups to receive a first win. The five-track EP went platinum in South Korea with over 200,000 sales. The group also took the title of most views on a debut music video within 24 hours with the title track “CROWN” gaining 14,493,378 views in the first 24 hours of its release. The video now sits at 166 million views and is still one of their most viewed videos.

A month after they debuted, they announced their first overseas tour, a six-show tour in America that sold out in less than 24 hours. Two months after their tour, TXT performed at KCON 2019 NY at Madison Square Garden, gaining more international fans among the festival's 55,000 attendees. By the end of the year, TXT made a name for themselves in South Korea and around the world, winning over ten year-end awards including: Asia Artist Awards “Rookie of the Year (Music)”, MAMA Awards “Best New Male Artist”, and V Live Awards “Global Rookie Top 5.”

CAREER

As of April 1 2024, TXT has released a total of seven EP’s and five studio albums in their five years as a group. The group maintains the concept of having no fixed positions between the members. With each release, the members' roles are able to change, giving them more freedom as artists. Their most viewed music video comes from their third EP, Minisode1: Blue Hour. The music video “Blue Hour,” which showcases the five boys exploring a dream-like world together as the sun sets, has gained over 193 million views.

Yeonjun was selected as Studio Choom’s “Artist Of The Month” in July 2021, where he was able to showcase his dancing abilities in a solo setting. Two years later, Yeonjun appeared on Studio Choom’s MIX & MAX alongside maknae Huening Kai.

On August 10, 2023 the quintet was named the newest ambassadors of the fashion house Dior. A few days prior, TXT donned custom stage outfits designed by Dior’s artistic director Kim Jones, for their headlining performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago.

TXT has begun their third tour, ACT:PROMISE, to promote their latest album minisode 3: Tomorrow. The group is performing in some of the largest arenas across Seoul, America, and Japan with each venue averaging a capacity of 15,000 in Seoul, 20,000 in America, and 50,000 in Japan.
