Throwback Thursday: Graduation Season

In the U.S. in May, a big celebration happens that is the next step in many of our lives. That celebration is graduation. From the end of April through May, many walk across the stage, grab their diploma, and feel the sweet victory after completing school. So, today we will take it back and listen to some tracks that need to be played during and after you graduate.

ATEEZ - “Celebrate”

“Celebrate for you. Celebrate for you.” On March 1, 2021, KQ Entertainment boy group ATEEZ dropped their hit album, ZERO: FEVER, Pt. 2. This album has many tracks that we remember but one that should be played during this celebratory time is the B-side, “Celebrate.” This upbeat track has bright colors, soulful vocals, and even a choir. The song is cheerful and you can feel the joy in their voices. The happiness is contagious and you will definitely listen to this song with a smile on your face. It’s a great song to play after getting your diploma.

IZ*ONE - “FIESTA”

If you don’t want to dance while listening to this track for the first time, I recommend you start it over and turn it up. On February 17, 2020, Stone Music Entertainment girl group IZ*ONE released their album, BLOOM*IZ. On that album is their iconic title track, “FIESTA.” This groovy dance track is so much fun to listen to. The video shows all the members in matching outfits, dancing and singing. “FIESTA” is so much fun to listen to, and this would be the perfect song to play while partying after graduation.

Girls’ Generation - “Into the New World”

On November 1, 2007, SM Entertainment mega girl group Girls’ Generation debuted with their song “Into The New World.” This uplifting song was the start of these girls' big careers and can be used to talk about your big start. This track is beautiful and carries such a powerful message. While this is a love song it can used as a graduation song. You will be brought to tears after hearing this song and it will be great to play after turning that tassel.
