Chanyeol is Here With His Official Debut
Chanyeol has done it and has made his official debut. EXO-L’s have been waiting for this day, and now that it’s here, we are so excited! His mini-album, Black Out is jam-packed with many powerful songs.

The title track, “Black Out” is a groovy piece. While listening to this song you can’t help but dance in your seat. This is the type of music that you play when you are getting ready, relaxing, and doing work or studying. While we know Chanyeol for his amazing rapping skills in EXO, we have a different, and more mellow side of Chanyeol in this track. We also got to hear his beautiful singing skills. His smooth, raspy voice matches the more upbeat, synth sound that he has for the track. There is a drum that is heard throughout the song that adds a rock tone to the track. While listening, my shoulders couldn’t stop moving. It’s such a fun song to listen to, and it is perfect for any situation you are in.
The music video shows him out and about in the city. There is something aesthetically pleasing about this video that I can’t pinpoint. I don’t know if it’s the surrounding building, the lighting, or the overall aura of the video, but it is very pleasing. It is a gorgeous video, for a gorgeous song.

There is a song for everyone on this album. Each song has its own personality, but still is unique to Chanyeol’s sound. You can tell that this mini-album is important to Chanyeol, and is a debut album that will go down in history. It is great to see him express himself through his music, and we can’t wait to see what he has planned during the promotions. So, check out Black Out for an unforgettable debut.
