&TEAM Make Official Korean Debut With New Release Back to Life - EP

After a stellar Japanese EP earlier this year, &TEAM is back with their official Korean debut. &TEAM is a nine-member Japanese-based group with one Korean member and one Taiwanese member. These boys have been on a roll ever since their debut in December of 2022. Their music is a mixture of sensual R&B and upbeat dance music. The boys have been releasing Japanese tracks ever since, and have finally released their first full Korean EP. 

Back to Life - EP features six songs with their own signature sounds.

The title track, “Back to Life,” was released a couple of days before the rest of the EP. Giving us a preview of what we can expect, “Back to Life” is a beautiful blend of pop-punk and rock that showcases the angst that will have you captivated once it starts. The track is a blend of Korean and English, creating a seamless fusion of the two languages. The vocals in this song are so striking and hold so much emotion. The angst concept they were going for really suits the song and the styling. “Back to Life” has the characteristics of the pop-punk tracks we heard back in the early 2000s. You can hear the fast-paced tempo, catchy melodies, and striking vocal harmonies. Not only is the song structurally seamless, but it is also very addictive. The chorus you can’t help but sing along to. “Only you. Bring me back to life. Bring me back to life.” After just one listen, you will instantly be singing along to the song and screaming the lyrics. 

The music video for the track is like a story being told before our eyes. The way the boys express so much emotion in their acting tells the story of nine boys going through hardships. Adding that extra flair of storytelling, the boys incorporate their well-known monster storyline. With this being a continuation of their story, the dystopian scenery adds to the plotline. 

Back to Life- EP is a fantastic EP, full of so much passion that you can’t help but get entranced. Each song is phenomenal, and you can tell this is a debut that will go down in the books.
