No Labels: You Can’t Put TXT’s YEONJUN In A Box

He can do it all, and he’s here to prove it: TXT (Tomorrow x Together)’s YEONJUN has released his first solo album on November 7, and it’s nothing short of electrifying—an adrenaline-charged debut that crackles with energy from start to finish. Titled NO LABELS: PART 01, it’s an album that, in its six tracks, immerses us through an eclectic blend of sounds and styles.

Oldest member of Tomorrow X Together, Yeonjun (Choi Yeonjun, 최연준) has proven since his days as a trainee at HYBE (then still known as Big Hit Entertainment) that he is a total all-rounder in the K-Pop realm. And now, with his first mini-album since his debut almost seven years ago, he wants to break free from any label that might be applied to him.

As per the official statement published by HYBE, “following the huge buzz around his first solo mixtape ‘GGUM’ last year, he returns with a broader musical spectrum. True to its name, the album breaks free from every frame and convention, letting YEONJUN be unapologetically himself—bold, free, and unmistakably embracing YEONJUN-core.”

The singer and dancer participated in writing most of the songs, and every track bears the signature of a hitman Bang, who’s none other than the Midas of K-Pop Bang Sihyuk (방시혁), founder of HYBE.

The tracklist for NO LABELS: PART 01:

  1. “Talk to You”

  2. “Forever”

  3. “Let Me Tell You (feat. Daniela of KATSEYE)”

  4. “Do It”

  5. “Nothin’ ‘Bout Me”

  6. “Coma”

Listening to these tracks, it’s clear they were crafted with stages in mind—each song pulses with energetic, charismatic beats that practically demand a live audience. Every note is a spark, igniting curiosity about how these dynamic sounds will translate in the upcoming music videos. And if the slick, artful teaser for the album is any indication, we’re on the verge of something truly electrifying.

The video contains snippets from the songs “Coma,” “Let Me Tell You,” and “Talk to You.” The initial scene takes place in an open field, in which the camera smoothly tracks Yeonjun’s moves: it’s an unrestricted choreography that speaks of freedom, his body following the rhythm with innate charisma, it feels like nothing’s holding him back, and he becomes one with the music itself.

Next up is the highly anticipated duet with Daniela (Daniela Avanzini) from the LA-based, HYBE-produced girl group KATSEYE. Together, they dance seamlessly through moody nighttime scenes, their silhouettes gliding from rooms to dimly lit alleyways. There’s palpable tension, bodies rolling in sync, and it’s impossible not to be excited for the moment we finally see them perform live, side by side.

And finally, “Talk to You,” the title track: bursting with energy from the start, the video looks punchy just like the song. Yeonjun gets punched, some girls clearly angry for something he did, he bares his torso, dons a flaming red fur jacket, jumps and dances like he’d never stop.

For a taste of what he’s going to look like onstage, we got a nice preview from his first live performance at Music Bank

Hype much?
