Best of December 2025

December 2025 presented us with some great, new music by our favorite groups and soloists–songs that kept us warm and happy throughout this cold, winter month. With only a few days left until the year heads into 2026, here is a look at some of the best B-sides to have been released this December.

“Blame us” - VERIVERY

VERIVERY brought smooth, nostalgic tones of R&B to their track “Blame us,” the closing track to their latest single album, LOST AND FOUND.  Through the use of synth sounds in the instrumental, “Blame us” emits a warm presence; one that feels perfect for the Christmas/winter season, with VERIVERY's sweet, melodic vocals and an old school, boyband charm contributing towards the song's special, nostalgic ambience.

”Parachute” - SEO EUNKWANG

Known to command any stage with his intense vocals (particularly with ballad songs), SEO EUNKWANG surprised listeners by going down a country music route with his single "Parachute." Taken from his latest album, UNFOLD, "Parachute" intricately blends guitar, harmonica, and drums into its arrangement, together creating an addictive and impressive blues-country-rock song that differs, vastly, from the songs many casual listeners of SEO EUNKWANG and BTOB will be used to hearing. "Parachute" is a fun song that those who happen to enjoy country music (or country-influenced pop) will be obsessed with, and will want to hear more of in K-Pop.

“Stay” - WayV

“If you don't wanna be here, you don't have to stay” sings WayV in “Stay,” a single from their special winter album, 白色定格 (Eternal White). But WayZenNi (WayV's fandom) are going nowhere, as the synth-infused R&B arrangement lures them deep into the song, guided by the soft, and gentle vocal delivery from the members. With lyrics sung entirely in English, co-written and co-produced by Dem Jointz, Leon Thomas, and Phillip “PSII Logan” Scott, “Stay” depicts the dramas of a broken relationship, with WayV approaching the track with an enticing yet laidback, nonchalant style that adds to the song's story.
