NMIXX’s Fe304: FORWARD Is A Groovy Fun Time
After their stellar release in August 2024, NMIXX is back with a Rock/Alternative electric mini-album. Fe304: FORWARD is jam-packed with six songs that hold the unique NMIXX sound we know and love.

Released on March 4, 2025, NMIXX dropped the first song on the mini-album “High Horse.” This pre-release truly set the tone for the rest of the EP. “High Horse” is a mixture of early 2000s punk-pop and electro. Starting with a more ballad-type sound, the song progresses to this more upbeat dance-along rhythm that makes you want to jump on your feet. In “High Horse,” the members' vocals sound raspy and full of angst. It is such a great way to start the EP and gives us a look into what we can expect.
The next song on the EP is the title track, “KNOW ABOUT ME.” With a more electrifying sound, NMIXX gives us a groovy track that will make you want to sway along to the beat. While listening to the track, you are hearing a more retro sound to the song. The members' vocals are soft but also striking and stand out with that hard-hitting beat in the back. This song is a good mixture of English and Korean, with lyrics for everyone to sing along to. The chorus is very addictive, and after the first listen, you’ll be singing along. “Let me show you that, show you that. Mm, mm. Know about me. Show you that, show you that. Mm, mm. Know about me.”
While watching the music video, you can’t help but notice the monotoned coloring. The girls are seen in black, grey, and white. The background is those usual shades of grey and blue that we are used to seeing in recent NMIXX album covers and music videos. It’s a gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing video. The choreography looks like it’s so much fun to perform. I can already see people performing the covers of this song and having the time of their lives. It’s a great title track that will be on everyone's mind.
