Back in 2023, we talked about some K-Pop songs that, once they are on, we sing word for word. There are so many iconic songs out there, and many know them like the back of their hand. So, let’s take it back and talk about some songs that make us want to grab our mics and sing along.
I.O.I - “Very Very Very”
On October 17, 2019, the former girl group I.O.I dropped their hit mini-album miss me? - EP. This EP is upbeat, bubbly, and so much fun to listen to. The title track, “Very Very Very,” is a cheerful dance track that many love and adore. The moment the song starts, you are met with a chipper beat, and once you hear it, you instantly start doing the choreography. The chorus is the most addictive part of the song, and the adorable choreography adds to the already cute concept of the song. It’s such a delightful song that many love to listen to.
TWICE - “Dance The Night Away”
On July 9, 2018, JYP Entertainment mega girl group TWICE released their album, Summer Nights. The album is cute, entertaining, and cheerful. The title track for this album, “Dance The Night Away,” is a hit everyone knows and loves. The moment you hear the “La, la, la, la, la, la, la,” you can’t help but jump up and get ready to give your best performance. The whole song is addictive, but the chorus is so hype that you can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of excitement. “Let’s dance the night away” will make you want to dance the night away. It’s such a summer banger and is a hit amongst many K-Pop fans.
TAEYANG - “Eyes, Nose, Lips”
On June 3, 2014, we were given the prime example of yearning from a heartbroken partner. BIGBANG member TAEYANG dropped his album, Rise. This album is home to the iconic title track, “Eyes, Nose, Lips.” A beautiful title track about missing his partner, TAEYANG, pours his heart out in this song. This is a well-known song amongst K-Pop listeners, and the moment it starts, you'll grab the closest item, use it as a microphone, and sing your heart out. It’s a lovely song that will pull at your heartstrings.
