D.C. has their [SPECIAL MOMENT] With TREASURE

Over the last few years, Washington DC has become a hot spot for K-Pop shows and the latest artist to grace the capital is none other than TREASURE. Debuting in 2017, members Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Haruto, Doyoung, Jeongwoo, and Junghwan known for their hypnotic stage presence and addicting discography, were ready to take on the states on their TREASURE [SPECIAL MOMENT] 2025 FIRST US TOUR.
It was only appropriate for the group to start their setlist with their first of several viral hits “JIKJIN.” A song that for many, introduced them to the group and ultimately led them to the show on this night. It would truly be a disservice not to mention that they had a live band performing with them, which completely elevated their performance.
Known for their boisterous and infectious sound, it is of no surprise that the show kicked off at a 10 and continued into an 11. Following with “BONA BONA,” debut track “BOY,” and “I LOVE YOU,” if fans needed a breather, it wouldn’t be coming soon. In true K-Pop fashion, it wouldn’t be a concert unless roars of barking echoed through the venue and as you would expect: the barking commenced–with encouragement from TREASURE.
The next segment of the show was a taste of killer unit stages: “THANK YOU” a duet featuring Asahi and Haruto, “MOVE” by T5 (Jihoon, Junkyu, Jaehyuk, Doyoung, Junghwan), closing out with “G.O.A.T” and “VolKno” from Hyunsuk, Yoshi, and Haruto. Member Jeongwoo did not perform a unit stage but hopefully in the future, maybe on their next tour, he’ll get the chance to show why he's the main vocalist.
Taking a once over of the audience, from the Teume singing and dancing to venue security unable to resist a quick jam out, it was abundantly clear that this was a standout tour that had landed in DC. This concert proved that TREASURE is truly a group that encapsulates what it means to be performers, where every member's position is perfectly curated just for them and they will keep you entertained from beginning to end.
Up to this point, the show had been a display of TREASURE’s intense tracks and choreographies, but after a brief outfit change, they returned with their springy latest release’s “YELLOW” and “사르르 (SARURU).” This tempo change did not last long as immediately they transitioned into “KING KONG” and “I WANT YOUR LOVE,” two equally intense songs…and then “B.O.M.B,” and the insanely viral hit “다라리 (DARARI).” I guess you could consider it a fun ping pong between their intense songs and their feel good tracks–either way, fans were enjoying themselves.
Their encore soon rolled around and as the show came to a close, it was a bittersweet moment for both artist and fans. An almost five year wait had been completely worth it and hopefully won’t take as long the next time around. TREASURE is definitely a group you want to see if you get the chance and it was our pleasure to be able to see them on their first U.S. Tour.
Thank you to Live Nation, YG Entertainment and the guys of TREASURE for a show we’ll be sure to remember and will look forward to next time.
