Throwback Thursday: Love is on the Brain

We are now in February, a month that is remembered for a few things, one of them being Valentine's Day. It’s a day you spend spreading love with family, friends, that special someone, or even yourself. It only felt right to talk about some songs that spread that loving feeling. So, let’s take it back and talk about some K-Pop songs that show love.
NCT 127 - “Love Song”
On March 5, 2020, NCT 127 released their jam-packed, no-skip album NCT #127 Neo Zone - The 2nd Album. Home to 13 songs, each track is a masterpiece and a joy to listen to. One song on the album that would be perfect for this upcoming Valentine’s Day is their retro-themed, groovy track “Love Song.” The moment the song starts, that groovy beat will transport you, and you are instantly in a trance. “Love Song” is such a fun song to listen to. The members' lighthearted harmonies create a very chill mood, but you can hear their yearning and love as they hit every note and falsetto. The lighthearted track is perfect to listen to while you're getting ready for that day out, or preparing for a relaxing day in. It’s a great song that was made for this holiday.
MONSTA X - “LOVE”
On November 15, 2023, Starship Entertainment mega boy group MONSTA X released their EP Shape of Love. An EP with six songs, each track is so much fun to listen to. The EP starts with their retro-themed, upbeat, striking title track “LOVE.” A track with powerful vocals, addictive raps, and a danceable beat, the moment it starts, you are instantly on your feet, moving along to the beat. The song grabs your attention the moment it starts: “We’re loving this time right now. We back again, once again.” This track is a ball of energy, showcasing each member's vocals. Joohoney’s powerful vocals at the end will have you at a loss for words, and then member Kihyun coming back in with his smooth vocals was the icing on the cake. This song is perfect for your Galentine parties. It will have everyone excited, screaming along to the lyrics.
P1Harmony - “Fall In Love Again (Prod. by C. “Tricky” Stewart & Believve)”
On November 8, 2023, P1Harmony released their fun mostly English track “Fall In Love Again (Prod. by C. “Tricky” Stewart & Believve).” A beloved track from the boys, “Fall In Love Again (Prod. by C. “Tricky” Stewart & Believve),” is an upbeat number that will bring smiles to every listener. A track about trying love out one more time, the boys' high energy will have you singing along to the lyrics and dancing. This track is very addictive. After one listen, you will find yourself singing the chorus all day long: “Take a chance. Baby, let’s take a chance. Yeah, I know he did you wrong. But we’re not all bad. Don’t hold back, baby, don’t hold back. And I promise you can fall in love again.” It’s such a fun song that will lift your spirits this Valentine’s Day.
