P1Harmony Shows Just How Unique They are with New Hype Release UNIQUE - EP

One thing many fans love about P1Harmony is their unique sound. Their music, no matter the comeback, is always different and stands out. Their last comeback, EX - EP, was a bright, upbeat English release that had us all moving along to the beat, while their release DUH! - EP was a flashback to the past, with a hard-hitting beat. The members—Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul, and Jongseob—are all super talented, and in this new EP, they showcase their unique sound. UNIQUE - EP has six songs that will rock your world in the best way.

In true P1Harmony fashion, the boys gave us a look at what to expect from this EP. Like a little sneak peek, we were able to see and anticipate this comeback.

The album starts with the title track “UNIQUE,” a hype, upbeat track that showcases another genre that P1Harmony pulls off effortlessly. “UNIQUE” is a track with a strong EDM, electro, and Latin funk/Reggaeton presence. This track showcases P1Harmony’s energy, and as the song progresses, you can hear the excitement in their voices. The song has a fast pace, but that doesn’t stop the members from following the track's flow and keeping that high energy all the way to the end. Even though the song is in the two-minute margin, the boys pack a punch in the song, and you are on your feet the entire time. The song is also very addictive to sing along to. After one listen, you are instantly singing along to the verses. “My crew unique. Unique (yeah),” and he is so right. This song showcases the members' uniqueness, and it is fun to see them still keeping to their concept and sound. 

Speaking of sticking to their sound, P1Harmony has returned with the concept we know and love. When P1Hamorny first debuted as heroes, it was a moment that was so different and unique. The video is very futuristic. The green background, or all-white scenes as they dance in the water, gives this concept a striking look. In true P1Harmony fashion, the choreography is hard-hitting and filled with powerful movements. The members do such a great job of staying in tune with the song's speed, and with each movement, you are captivated and ready for more. “UNIQUE” is such a fun song that will have you ready to pull out your best moves and sing along. 

The next song on the EP is their fun song “Pandemonium.” Coming back with that hyperpop sound, “Pandemonium” is a certified electrifying dance song that will have everyone grooving to the beat. This is also a track to heighten your mood. Hearing the members shout the lyrics together during the chorus fills you with excitement. While it's a dance track, those strong vocals are still present, and they match the song's vibe. The next song, “L.O.Y.L.,” is a mixture of emotions and sounds. When the song first starts, we are set in a futuristic setting. Still utilizing that hyperpop sound, the members sound angelic while singing, but then, like a complete 180, the beat changes, and we are given a bass-driven beat that will make your head move. It is such a fun song that experiments with a wide range of sounds/genres. 

With such a happy tone, the next song on the EP is their track “Wednesday Girl.” With a more laidback tone, “Wednesday Girl” is a track that really focuses on the vocals of the boys. Slightly focusing on that pop genre, they add a beachy tone to the song that showcases the instrumentals. Throughout the song, alongside the members' beautiful voices, you can hear many instruments, including drums, guitar, and keyboard. It’s a beautiful touch that adds a happier sound to the song. 

Now, you know P1Harmony would have to give us a hip-hop heavy track, and on this EP, we got two. We start with “Triple 7,” a song with a faster pace, but striking flows and verses. Grabbing your attention the moment it starts, you are full of energy from beginning to end. The final song on the EP is their dynamic track “ICE (VVS).” It’s a track with a bass-induced beat that has you moving your head along to the beat. The moment I heard this song on the album sampler, I knew it would be so exciting to listen to. The beat, the raps, and the addictive lyrics are all so memorable and mighty that you can’t help but like it. 

Wow, P1Harmony has done it again! Once again, they have released a memorable, fun, exciting, and really good EP. These boys are so talented, and UNIQUE - EP is truly a fun release. I really love this album, and every song will be added to my playlist and played on repeat. So, everyone, go and check out P1Harmony’s new release, UNIQUE - EP, for an enjoyable time.
