Free Falling for Kangmin in his Debut Single Album

Seven years after his debut, VERIVERY member Kangmin has dropped his first single album Free Falling! The album, accompanied by the title track of the same name, was released on March 26, 2026.

The Title Track: “Free Falling”
Kangmin presents a more mature side to himself in the music video for “Free Falling.” The song is a blend of R&B and pop where Kangmin’s voice shines against a melodious beat. His polished vocals give the effect of falling from your own volition, adding to the serene theme of the single album. The intensifying chorus brings the song to a new level and contrasts the softness of the verses without overshadowing them. Kangmin performs the choreography with the precision and grace of a seven-year artist and it’s best showcased on his stage for M!COUNTDOWN. The fluidity pairs well with the nature of the title track to make for a well-rounded, satisfying debut.
Kangmin shares two more tracks to complement “Free Falling.” “Intro : small, fragile and still here” and “in the mirror” reflect his mindset as he becomes a more assured person as he works through his feelings. The whole single album is an honest admission from Kangmin as he navigates difficult emotions, rejecting the need to constantly be perfect, and instead viewing himself for the person he truly is.
