Best of February 2026

It may only be the second month of the year but February 2026 might be my favorite month of B-sides so far. So many strong contenders were released last month, making it difficult to choose just a few for this article but here are some of my favorites.

“NASA” - ATEEZ

K-Pop sensations ATEEZ “shoot for the stars” in their latest mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part 4, taking ATINY into the intergalactic with the third track, “NASA.” In true ATEEZ fashion, “NASA” combines the members’ intricate rap flows with their stellar vocal abilities, serving as a futuristic inspired hip-hop track that feels very much ATEEZ. From the first listen, “NASA” has you hooked on its beat, immediately becoming a standout track on the album, with an accompanying performance video that takes ATINY further out-of-this-world and right into the action of one owned by ATEEZ.

“Red Diamond” - MISAMO

TWICE’s Japanese sub-unit, MISAMO, shine bright in their debut studio album, PLAY, glowing like a beautiful, one-of-a-kind “Red Diamond” in the album’s fifth single. Previously performed as an unreleased track during MISAMO’s Japanese dome tour Haute Couture back in 2024, “Red Diamond” delivers a sleek and mature pop sound that allows each member to shine over the song’s seductive arrangement, truly being a gem of a song that remains unforgettable on the album.

“Force” - IVE (ANYUJIN Solo)

As the leader of IVE, An Yujin has always shown star quality ever since IVE’s debut with her charismatic aura radiating not only through her music but also through her appearances on variety shows. But her debut solo track “Force” further emphasises An Yujin as an all-round entertainer, being the closing track to IVE’s second full-length album REVIVE+, that is certainly worth the wait. Although solo, the production of “Force” carries a fierce girl group attitude that is reminiscent to strong girl-group anthems of the 2010s with An Yujin’s vocals taking full charge alone, flawlessly switching between Korean and English, and delivering a deeply rich vocal color that is distinctively An Yujin.
