WOOAH has recently returned with two digital singles as part of company-wide initiatives from their management, H MUSIC. Minseo’s solo single “Endlessly you” and WOOAH’s sixth anniversary single “WXW(Wish With W)” make up parts of the group’s “Wish With W” project. “Wish With W” represents the first music project series coming out of H MUSIC’s collaboration with IRON ENM, a company founded by singer-songwriter AVIN of music producer duo LAS.
Through this partnership, artists under H MUSIC—WOOAH, DXMON, and HITGS—will release music with sounds and messages expanded from the groups’ previous concepts. Only two singles for WOOAH have been announced so far under their group-specific series. Labelled as a narrative-based “emotional project,” “Wish With W” begins with Minseo’s “Endlessly you.”
“Endlessly you”
Released on April 28, Minseo released her first solo song outside of a K-Drama OST. This song places an emphasis on the “emotional” label of the “Wish With W” project. In “Endlessly you,” a person notices their partner coldly ignoring them, which causes the speaker to worry about their inevitable breakup. They feel powerless to stop their partner from drifting away. “You’re the type who can’t say goodbye / Afraid it’ll hurt / But I feel you will say it soon to me,” Minseo sings.*
With a white background and greyscale colors, the music video for “Endlessly you” uses a minimalist approach. It focuses solely on Minseo’s performance rather than including a storyline. Though “Endlessly you” deals with the heavy emotions of feeling unloved, the second piece of the “Wish With W” project highlights how spending time with friends can make days better.
“WXW(Wish With W)”
WOOAH serenades their fans through the soft rock song “WXW(Wish With W).” The release coincides with their debut date, May 13. Co-written by the WOOAH members, LAS, ZAE, and junotheloner, the lyrics tell how a supportive network helps people face uncertainty with ease. “You’re my light and my fire / you illuminate the endless road,” the chorus says.*
This anniversary single doubling as WOOAH’s first group song since 2024 makes “WXW(Wish With W)” more special. Through shots from a camcorder, some scenes of its music video take on a reminiscent tone. These past six years have not been the smoothest for WOOAH but, like the song says, they will face the unpredictable future with confidence.
