idntt has finally unveiled their three core sub-units with the launch of itsnotover on July 13. The sub-unit itsnotover partners with idntt’s unevermet, who debuted last August, and yesweare, who debuted in January, for the group’s latest EP, <itsnotover>. Consisting of Kwak Giwoong, Kim Eunsung, Cho Eunchan, Yang Gyungho, and Lee Jooheon, itsnotover brings idntt closer to its projected 24-member structure. The remaining four members will join itsnotover at a later date

Much like their labelmates tripleS, idntt uses their large lineup to create diverse combinations of performances and songs. Released on July 13, the <itsnotover> EP shows the strength of their newly formed 20-member composition. Lee Hwanhee said the group showcases their qualities through “dynamic music that incorporates hip-hop, trap, and EDM.” With the 20-member title track “Kids Return,” B-sides “Twenty,” “Run It Up,” “Lovestruck,” “Trainspotting,” “Boys Gonna Dive,” and itsnotover song “It’s Not Over,” idntt continues to carve out their identity.

The Title Track: “Kids Return”

“Kids Return” highlights idntt’s primary genre, hip-hop. Co-written and co-composed by producer EL CAPITXN, “Kids Return” tells listeners to keep chasing their dreams. This old-school hip-hop track features all 20 members dancing and singing in a carefree manner. Though the members sing most of the song in a lower register, “Kids Return” also includes moments of pleasing falsetto.

The music video, which warns viewers of “intense flashing lights that may trigger seizures,” contains low-lit choreography shots with quick flashes for transitions. The sheer number of members gives the group a massive presence. They are, as they say, “untouchable.”
