K-Pop’s first deaf idol group, Big Ocean, will continue touring Europe and launch a new tour in America soon. From July 11 - July 20, Chanyeon, Jiseok, and PJ will finish the second half of their first European tour, Underwater, with five more concerts. Shortly afterwards, they will head to America for their first U.S. tour, Ride the Wave.
Big Ocean debuted on April 20, 2024, and has since gained global attention for their inclusion of Korean Sign Language (KSL), American Sign Language (ASL) and International Sign (IS) in their performances. They released their second EP, Underwater, on their first debut anniversary. Leading up to the tours, Big Ocean will also debut their first sub-unit: Big Ocean JJ. Consisting of Jiseok and PJ, the duo will release the hip-hop single “BUCKET HAT” on July 9. According to a press release by Europe-based Asian event promoter 5 Oceans Studio, the song “creates a truly timeless bubble, bursting with energy.”

In addition to experiencing performances, fans can purchase add-ons that can include, selfie photo, group photo, fan sign, and hi-touch opportunities.
“Some tours are designed to impress. This one is intentionally built to resonate,” 5 Oceans Studio CEO Emmanuelle Amelin said in a press release. “For Big Ocean, the stage isn’t just the ultimate space for music, it’s where fans become part of the process, turning sound and vibration into something real, something greater.”
